The members of the Child Protection Commission include:

Dr Peter Barnes, Mr Tim Haggar, Mr Dominic Belli.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and they deserve to be protected from abuse in all its forms.  The Commission aims to promote a wider awareness of child protection issues and to encourage appropriate and responsible behaviour wherever children are being supervised within a Church-related environment.  It is also the role of the Diocesan Child Protection Commission to co-operate with the Police and Social Services when any allegation of abuse is made against a person representing the Church.
